Meet the Editor:
Alexa Radcliffe-Hart

Alexa Radcliffe-HartAlexa graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) Degree in English & Creative Writing at the University of Chichester in 2007. Based on the reference from creative writing tutor Jane Rusbridge, in 2006 she was awarded a TopWrite scholarship to Swanwick Writer’s Summer School. This chance allowed her to form industry connections as well as bringing new direction to her own writing.

In 2007 Alexa presented a paper at the Postgraduate Contemporary Women’s Writing Network (PGCWWN) Conference, continuing her interest in contemporary literature critical study. After her degree, she began working for an IT company pursuing creative possibilities within the company whilst working within the administration area of the company until the role of Marketing Coordinator was created as a full time position. In 2009, outside of her 9-5 work in Marketing, she was invited to work on a freelance basis as Dog Horn Publishing’s Literary Editor. She is now General Editor of Fruit Bruise Press.

2010 saw publication of Shark by Wes Brown, and a short story collection Through the Eyes of Strays by Glen Krish is due to be published later this year—both edited by Alexa.

Alexa’s connections with Swanwick Writer’s Summer School continue; in 2010 she ran a short course (two hourly workshops) on Postmodern Literary Fiction and this year she was booked for a specialist course (four hourly workshops) on Contemporary and Literary Fiction as well as six individual one-to-one mentoring sessions. Alexa has since been invited to return in 2012 to run another specialist course as well as to provide one-to-one mentoring.
