Blair Dingwall is an Aberdonian photo-journalist of misanthropic sensibilities. This month he joins the Imperial Youth to showcase his talent with both shutter and lens. Take some time to linger over his images of bromance, urban life, drinking, consumerism and the night.
My favourite image is this one: two friends on a sofa, playing video games. They laugh. They’re close. One of them is under a duvet with no T-shirt on. Smoke pours over his top lip. It’s a touching image of contemporary male bonding. I like it a lot.
Which images do you like and why?
